Round 2 Replacement Match

STL Round 2 was postponed
so
a few committed 6-pack & Coyotes had
a Thosai/Briyani eating competition on Saturday instead
(after Training, of course)

The competitive Participants

The Champ

Undoing of a Champion ?

Barely into 2nd week of STL season
Doubts and Setbacks hit the 6-pack camp
An sms of supposedly 'inspiring' quote
sent players into frenzies instead,
frantically reaching for their phone to reply,
some were apologetic, others were defensive & annoyed
while the rest were simply nonchalant.
(with 1 exception feeling more sleepy instead)

The message was clear and resounding....
"...those players are not willing to sacrifice
for the greater good of the team.
In the end, their unwillingness to sacrifice

only makes goals more difficult to achieve"

Be fair & thoughtful to those teammates
who always put the team before themselves
Of course, if you have tried your best to sacrifice n contribute,
this sms was merely but a reminder
to those who have not.

Everyone has incommensurable priorities...
Work, Family & School.
Those priorities are important
and it is understandable
should you put them above Touch.
(though I believe good Time Management
will be able to sort these things out sometimes)

At times, it will be understandable
if you can not make trainings over those more Important priorities.
Nevertheless, a simple gesture of
replying smses and email will go a long way in helping ur
teammates who volunteered to organize trainings & games.

Please make it easy for them....
If you have been in the position of
organizing trainings or events,
you will understand how tedious it is
to send out 20-30 smses,
collating responses
and then
confirming trainings/games

Of course...
IF everyone can just sacrifice a little bit more,
for the "greater good of the team"
there is no stopping the potential of this team.

Otherwise....
it could just be another disappointments

otherwise do not do it at all
